These loans and credits have been provided by various sources such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Overseas Economic Cooperative Fund (OECF), and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). In addition, technical assistance grant aid has been received from a number of countries, including the Federal Republic of Germany, Canada, Australia and Japan. The Education Loan Committee has been appointed by the Council of Ministers to review the proposed loan projects before submitting to the Council of Ministers for approval, and to evaluate the implementation of those projects. The Committee is chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the National Education Commission with the Secretary-General of ONEC as secretary of the Committee. |
